Repsol is accelerating its efforts to invest into low carbon and progress the decarbonisation of the company’s industrial assets, Josu Jon Imaz said during a Q1 earnings call. He noted that in Q1 2021, 40% of its capex was deployed in low carbon platforms, and noted that its upstream assets generate cash that finances the energy transition in the company.
