Inpex is closely involved with ADNOC Group in UAE projects, and in 2019 was awarded Onshore Block 4 as part of the nation’s concession awards. The company in January set out its path towards net zero emissions by 2050, emphasising the importance of carbon capture, utilisation and storage as well as its goal to start a hydrogen business. The company also plans to grow its renewable initiatives, promote carbon recycling, and work on forest conservation efforts.
