Gazprom, Russian energy giant, plans to focus in the medium-term on acquiring stakes of as much as 30% in hydrocarbon production projects, and its international arm will continue to focus on projects in Latin America, South East Asia, and North Africa. Meanwhile, after maintenance interruptions, it has resumed supplies to Turkey via the Blue Stream gas pipeline.
