The National Iranian Gas Company CEO Hassan Torbati said in January 2021 that the country’s natural gas production capacity reached 1 billion cubic meters per day, which he said is a significant figure, and ruled out rumors about any reduction of production and pressure in the South Pars field. He added that the nation has 900 mcm of gas transmission capacity.
