Like many other, Nexans is in the midst of transformation, seeking to reduce costs and to see selective growth. The company reported sales of $3.82bn in H1 2019, representing 5% growth. It also committed its money and expertise to help rebuild the French landmark Notre-Dame cathedral, which was damaged in a fire in April 2019. It will provide fire resistant energy cables.
