GAC Group is planning to expand its operations in the Middle East, noting in a June 2019 press release that the contract logistics market in the region is growing. The company in May announced that it would install 15,000 solar panels to power two of its facilities in Dubai, including its $27mn Dubai South facility, its largest and most sophisticated, which opened in November 2018.
