Welltec completed construction of a new manufacturing and maintenace centre in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, in June 2019. It expects the centre to act as a Middle East hub for maintenance, servicing and manufacturing of oil and gas technologies. Its Annular Isolation technology was used by Total E&P Congo for what it says was the world’s first cementless completion.
