Rockwell Automation has made a number of moves to enhance its portfolio of digital products and services, including a joint venture with Schlumberger to create Sensia, which it calls the oil and gas industry’s first fully integrated automation solutions provider. It also acquired Emulate3D, a software developer that simulates and emulated industrial automation systems.
