Perdido’s great journey
The Perdido platform is located 200 miles off the coast of the United States in the Gulf of Mexico. Perdido, a joint venture between Shell, BP and Chevron, is the world’s deepest oil and gas spar and will produce 130,000 barrels of oil per day when fully operational. The massive spar structure was built in Finland and shipped by barge to the US. This is its journey.
