Al Mazrouei chaired OPEC’s 175th conference and the Opec and non-Opec fifth Declaration of Cooperation (DEC). Doubts arose that it would be come to an agreement, but it agreed to output cuts of 1.2mn bpd in December 2018. Al Mazrouei has emphasised the need for a more permanent relationship with non-Opec producers.
