Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani

Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani is an experienced oil and gas executive who, in addition to his roles at DNO and RAK Petroleumm, serves as Chairman of Foxtrot International which is a privately-held Franco-American oil and gas company active in West Africa.
He was founder and first chief executive of Houston-based Apache International Inc.
DNO was the first company to sign a production sharing contract with the Kurdish Regional Government (2004), and the first company to export Kurdish oil (2009).
In addition to his industry positions, Mossavar-Rahmani is a Director of the Persepolis Foundation and serves as a member of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Visiting Committee and on the Board of Trustees of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
He was decorated Commandeur de l’Ordre National de la Côte d’Ivoire for services to the energy sector of that country.
