Business France, jointly with EVOLEN and the French Business Group, hosted the third UAE France Oil and Gas Connecting Days during 25-26 June in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais.
The forum included ADNOC and its subsidiaries, as well as several ADNOC partners, including Mudabala Petroleum. This event was launched under the patronage of Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador of France to the United Arab Emirates.
Following the successful sessions in 2015 and 2017, under the framework of the UAE-France strategic dialog, the third UAE France Oil and Gas Connecting Days aimed to highlight the strong innovative capabilities of the French industry in energy and oil and gas sectors and to strengthen business relationships in the fields of oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, energy and new technologies, between Emirati and French organisations.

Key topics that were covered on the first day included the oil and gas industry as a whole with particular focus on downstream, refining, petrochemicals, fertilisers and gas processing whilst the second day was dedicated to operational managers and engineers of a wide range of French industrial manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, dedicated to oil and gas operations and maintenance, directly with the end users, managers and engineers. French companies were showcasing their know-how in terms of innovation, artificial intelligence and digital technologies designed to improve automation process and operational efficiency in oil and gas processing.
