Grandweld Shipyards has signed a new contract to design, build and deliver four 42m Crew Boats for Dubai-based subsea services company Global Marine.
The contract was signed in July 2015 between Jamal Abki, Grandweld general manager, and Shahram Nazemi, Global Marine managing director.
The vessel features a crew seating capacity of 69 persons, a 104 sqm loading area for over 85 tons of deck cargo, and achieves a speed in excess of 25-knots.
The vessel will also be equipped with high end Navigational equipment according to the customer requirements.
Grandweld says this contract is the latest in a number of repeat orders from Global Marine for this class of vessel.
