Equate enjoyed a successful evening at the Oil&Gas Middle East 2014, winning two awards, including the Localisation Strategy of the Year.
Competition for the award was fierce, with Mutajat, PDO and Shell also shortlisted.
Speaking about the winning entry, one of the judges said: “It is obvious that the company has a very well defined localisation strategy and it has put a huge and sustainable effort to make it happen.
“The collaboration with external institutions is also extensive.”
The submission was also singled out for praise due to the quality of the data and content provided.
The award was presented by Adnan Dawood, regional general manager – marketing at FAMCO – a Category Sponsor of the event.
