Paradigm Drilling Services (PDS) based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, part of Paradigm Group B.V. which is headquartered in Groot-Ammers, the Netherlands, have recently expanded their teams in the Middle East and Mexico to cope with increasing demand for their innovative drilling equipment.
The new range of tools which have been introduced to these markets over the past year have rapidly gained interest. The tools are all focused on torque reduction and improving drilling efficiency in today’s demanding wells. They deliver better quality wellbores, while reducing the costs and risks for the operator and drilling contractor.
Two new local recruits have joined the PDS team in the Middle East, based in Saudi Arabia to cope with this demand.
Brian Bannerman, International Sales Manager for PDS explains, “Due to our significant gains in market share and increased tool usage by a major client in KSA over this year, we are pleased to have added a further two personnel to the team to support and continue the growth of PDS and our tools within the KSA market place.”
Mr. Bannerman goes on to explain how the Group are passionate about the region and are hopeful for continued growth, “These recruits show our commitment and confidence in this market and we are sure the new hires will be very positive additions to the existing team who have been instrumental in our accelerated growth in the region over the last 12 months”.
In addition, PDS have also recruited a full-time Operations Manager in Mexico to deal with the increase in demand. Mr. Bannerman explains “This new addition will help us to manage the massive increase in our fleet of downhole tools which supply our major clients in the region. Interest in the new tools has increased over the past twelve months so, this addition will also help us provide better personnel coverage throughout the entire oilfield areas in Mexico and deliver even higher quality service to our clients.”
He continues, “Mexico has over 250 wells planned to be drilled in 2020 and PDS are ensuring they are ready for the increase in drilling activity by hiring highly experienced personnel to compliment the already outstanding team that is in place.”
