THREE60 Energy said that the senior appointments were made to its well engineering group across the UK, Asia Pacific, and North America.
Aberdeen-based THREE60 Energy announced key senior appointments to its well engineering group across the UK, Asia Pacific and North America as a result of sustained global growth. The leading independent energy service company, offering complete asset life cycle solutions, appointed leading people from top global energy or energy service companies.
The company hired Brian Edment as a wells manager to lead operations across the Asia Pacific region, based in Indonesia. He previously held several senior positions with BP and Schlumberger covering both engineering and operations over three decades.
Another wells manager to lead UK operations is Graeme Laughton. Laughton joins THREE60 Energy from Aker BP where he held the role of senior completion engineer based in Norway. There, he took a lead role in managing drilling campaigns from the concept phase to detailed design, and through to the planning and execution of projects.
Kousha Gohari will be a senior production engineer and lead operations across North America. With over a decade of experience at Baker Hughes, Gohari held several technical roles including production and reservoir engineering consultant. Subsequently, he joined Weatherford as a senior reservoir engineer.
These three latest additions to the senior Wells team of the THREE60 Energy Group will be responsible for driving growth across these key regions.
THREE60 Energy Group CEO, Walter Thain, said: “It’s great to welcome Brian, Graeme and Kousha to the wider THREE60 team. They bring a wealth of industry experience and technical know-how to their new roles which strengthen an already strong team. We are experiencing significant growth across the geographies in which we operate, including the North Sea, Asia Pacific and North America, and these senior appointments further embed our expertise across those important regions.
“Our growing team of experienced and highly skilled drilling and well engineers, combined with our ability to provide a flexible service model at scale, means THREE60 Energy is ideally positioned to support operators as they look to embrace more efficient, safer and environmentally friendly approaches to accelerate production. I am confident that Brian, Graeme and Kousha will play an integral role in shaping our customer offering in line with this need, as well as helping to take the group’s international growth strategy forward in 2021 and beyond.”
