CPECC
China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (CPECC) won a $1bn contract  in April 2019 to build and operate gas processing facilities at Halfaya oilfield. It will process 300mscfd of natural gas, offsetting Iraq’s need to flare associated gas by providing necessary facilities.
Oil Industries Engineering & Construction
Iraq and Iran are working towards joint development of oilfields on their shared border. Iran’s oil minister and Iraq’s prime minister jointly decided that Iran’s Oil Industries Engineering and Construction Group (OIEC), a private EPC contractor, would partner with an Iraqi company.
Hyundai E&C
This South Korean company won a $2.4bn contract to build a seawater supply facility in Iraq from Basrah Oil Company. The facility will supply 5mn barrels of water per day for exploration and production, as Hyundai E&C seeks to ramp up activity in the country.
