Technip Energies is a spin-off of TechnipFMC, completed in February 2021. The company describes itself as a ‘technology company for the energy transition, with leadership positions in liquefied natural gas, hydrogen and ethylene.
It plans to grow its presence in blue and green hydrogen, sustainable chemistry and CO2 management. It operates in 34 countries with staff of 15,000 employees.
“The successful creation of Technip Energies was a proud moment that has further energized our workforce to deliver on our ambition – to be a leading engineering and technology company for the Energy Transition,” said Arnaud Pieton, CEO of Technip Energies.
He expressed confidence for the rest of 2021 in terms of achieving financial objectives, and noted that the company’s revenue outlook is largely secured through its scheduled backlog.
