Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) in July 2018 won an EPC contract from ADNOC for the development of offshore Bu Haseer field, to increase production capacity from 8,000bpd to 16,000bpd by 2020. Over half of the value of the contract will flow into the local economy, in line with ADNOC’s in-country value programme.
