SPX Flow

The resurgence of Iraq and the opportunities that its underdeveloped oil and gas industry presents is proving to be lucrative for oilfield services companies. A recent joint venture with local Iraqi firm WTE Wajdi Group has thus helped SPX Flow raise its profile in not just Iraq, but also in the region. By way of the JV – which will be based in the North Rumalia oilfield in southern Iraq, and have an office in Dubai – SPX Flow is looking to expand its business of supplying all rotating and static equipment for oil and gas customers in Iraq. The US-based entity is also relying on its portfolio of pumping applications for oil and gas to grow its customer base in the region – products from its Plenty brand of pumps and mixers being a key part of the offering.
