What are the main products and services that you offer?
Servtech offers a wide range of services for the Oil and Gas, Power, Petrochemical, Water, Marine and Process industries in the Middle East and North Africa. We have mainly two divisions: Valves and Metrology.
The valves division caters to service, repair and testing of all kind of valves. Servtech is one among the first service organisations to be certified by the (US) National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessels in the region. The Metrology division caters to calibration and service of flow metres and instruments. Over the span of 25 years, Servtech has become a veteran in the services that it provides.
How has business been for the company in 2015?
It has been quite a steady year for Servtech. We are happy that we could perform beyond the expectations of our customers and bring in more contracts. The demand is increasing as more focus on is being put out on maintenance and we are proud of what we have accomplished so far and hoping to do even better.
Are there any major contracts/announcements that you’d like to tell our readers about?
We are glad that we could bring in additional contracts this year, major ones including ADCO, Rak Gas, Emirates Global Aluminum, YTL Lebanon, Saudi electric company etc. We are focussing on continually improving ourselves and in turn helping our clients. We have invested heavily in new equipment and have focussed more on in-situ calibration, servicing and testing which enable us to reduce the lead time for our customers.
Lead time is a major key in the region and we have put our efforts to help our customers reduce that lead time. Furthermore we have increased our capacity in-situ grinding and lapping as high as 54 inches for valves, which is evidently helping our customers. We have upgraded ourselves in metrology as well with portable solutions including portable provers, keeping us distinguished.
