Alderley FZE, a subsidiary of Alderley plc, has secured a contract to supply six liquid metering systems for the north and south tank farm facilities and truck loading arm facilities at the Jazan Refinery in Saudi Arabia.
The scope of supply includes designing and engineering metering systems for crude oil, ULS diesel, propane, butane, high sulphur fuel and black oil.
The six metering systems will be engineered, designed and manufactured at Alderley’s Dubai facilities with support from the company’s facility in Dammam and are expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2016.
This is the second Jazan contract awarded to Alderley this year. In January, the firm signed a deal for the supply of nine oil metering systems and small volume provers for the Jazan Refinery Package 14, Marine Terminal Project in Saudi Arabia.
The Jazan Refinery and Terminal are in the heart of one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious projects Jazan Economic City.
The refinery is owned by the state oil company Saudi Aramco and has the capacity to process more than 400,000 barrels per day of crude oil into fuels for domestic and international customers.
Adrian Phillips, managing director, Alderley FZE, commented: “This is the second contract after the initial Hanwha Engineering and Construction Corp order we have been awarded for the supply of vital measurement equipment for the Jazan Refinery and Terminal project, giving us fourteen metering skids in total.
“We have a long history of delivering projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and are pleased that we can continue to support the country’s industrial infrastructure.”
