Alderley Mid East notches up $40 million revenues

Celebrating its tenth year in business, Alderley FZE has announced strong financial results for 2010. Turnover exceeded $40m with strong profitability. Buoyant markets in the Middle East have resulted in a number of landmark contract wins for the company, including the 48 truck loading and unloading skid packages for Saudi Arabia, recently completed. Alderley FZE is part of the Alderley Group and is the firm’s largest operating company overseas. Alderley FZE provides the full range of services for engineering, supply and operation of bespoke metering and produced water treatment solutions to the oil and gas industry.

Nick Hull, Managing Director of Alderley FZE said, “The last year has been very successful for our operations in the Middle East and this has contributed to a landmark performance both in terms of profitability and customer satisfaction. The recent contracts secured via our Saudi Arabian facility, Alderley Industrial, has supplemented the success we have achieved in the other Gulf regions, in particular Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE.

“What has been particularly pleasing is the relationship we have developed with Saudi Aramco, as we have worked closely with them to refine the designs and provide a pioneering solution to improve operability, safety and reduce unloading time. Alderley has been an approved supplier of Saudi Aramco since 1998,” he said

Hull added: “Since Alderley FZE was established in 2001, it has expanded considerably and now employs 100 staff, with in-house specialists in HSEQ, sales, 3D modeling, mechanical/instrumentation/software engineering and aftermarket care contracts. Part of that expansion includes our operations in Saudi Arabia, with the creation of a subsidiary with minority joint venture partner, Al Shoaibi Group, in 2006.

“We have carried out a number of major contracts in the last ten years, with the largest gas metering project delivered for Saudi Saipem and the largest pipe provers in the Kingdom at Al Khafji, at 36” nb. The reputation Alderley has established worldwide, for providing high quality, value added solutions, supported through excellent site services via our locally based teams has been the key to our success in the last ten years and is the formula we will apply for our continued growth.”
