Emerson Process Management, a subsidiary of US listed firm Emerson Electric Company, has announced a programme of interactive web seminars (webinars) in June/July 2011, in a bid to show how wireless and digital technologies enable easier and more profitable oilfield operations.
The programme follows the highly successful series of events in 2010 when hundreds of delegates, including plant managers, project leaders and operations and maintenance personnel, were shown how wireless technologies can be applied across the process industry to enable operational improvements.
The process automation provider’s global webinar programme runs from Tuesday, June 28 to Friday, July 1. Each webinar is in English and repeated at different times during the day to accommodate multiple locations and time zones.
Emerson is billing the webinars as a time-efficient and convenient way to learn from the experts about how wireless and digital technologies can help maximise output and reduce costs.
The webinars will be fully interactive and attendees can pose questions directly to the presenters during the event.
