MESC announced that its board of directors has appointed Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Al Duailej as its Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to this appointment, Al Duailej held executive positions in various companies and advised the boards of a number of companies specialized in industrial, real estate and oil and gas on value creation, corporate structuring, market, product and corporate development.

He started his career in 1985 at SABIC as marketing responsible for international sales of various chemical products. In his most recent role, he served as the Chief Executive and board member of the Al Oula for real estate developments. Mr. Al Duailej also held several executive positions within Al Oula Holding Company in different markets within the Middle East, including KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Adwan Chemical Industries Company for more than 12 years.

Abdulaziz Al Namlah, chairman of MESC, said: “We are very thankful for the leadership of Hashem Huneidi, who led the successful expansion of MESC within the Middle East region”. Based on Abdul Aziz’s track record in leading various companies in different industries and his strategic vision, his appointment was a unanimous decision among the board of MESC. We are pleased with Abdul Aziz’s appointment as he has the talent and experience to lead the growth of MESC in the region and beyond and fulfill the board of director’s vision.”

In a relatively short period of time, MESC has expanded in several markets including Libya, Nigeria and North Africa and signed major partnership agreements. Today, with manufacturing presence in KSA, UAE and Jordan, MESC is committed to expanding its presence in strategic markets and delivering high quality products and service to its customers and partners.

Abdul Aziz Al Duaijel is a graduate of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals with a degree in Industrial management. Throughout his professional life, he attended major executive training sessions in the Petrochemical and oil industries, in addition to strategic forums related to management in SMB and family businesses.
