ADIPEC exhibitor and oilfield services company Expro has strengthened its presence in the North Africa energy market through being awarded two new contracts in Tunisia.Â
Both new contracts include drill stem testing work, demonstrating Expro’s ability to provide the complete package of exploration and appraisal well testing services to its customers.Â
Expro has been awarded an integrated well testing project, including slickline, data acquisition and drill stem testing, located offshore in the Gulf of Hammamet, in north-eastern Tunisia. Â
It has also been awarded an extension to an integrated project in Tunisia. Having originally been commissioned to provide wireline intervention services, the contract has now been extended to include sampling and analysis, drill stem testing and data acquisition.
“These are both milestone contracts for Expro’s team in MENA as we continue to increase our footprint in the North Africa region,” explained Chris Mawtus, Expro’s chief operating officer. “We are increasing the number of integrated service projects that we deliver, allowing our customers to benefit from Expro’s experience and wide skills set. Our continued investment in our people, infrastructure and technology allows us to work closely with our customers to offer turn-key projects across this important region,” added Mawtus.
