Swedish compressor provider to the oil and gas industry, Atlas Copco on Tuesday inaugurated its expanded customer centre in Dubai, UAE.
The expanded facility for Atlas Copco Services Middle East OMC, will gather the group’s products and services under one roof and provide a new competence centre for sales and service across the United Arab Emirates.
“With this new customer centre in Dubai we create a single point of contact for our customers. It also illustrates our long-term commitment to this region,” says Stephan Kuhn, business area president Atlas Copco Compressor Technique.
The customer centre will offer compressed air, gas and process, power generation, construction and mining equipment as well as specialty rental and all related aftermarket service. It will also support offices in Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al-Khaimah. The customer centre will employ approximately 40 people, a company statement said.
“With our new customer centre, we show our commitment to be closer to our customers, and to support them in a more professional manner. We aim to be a good corporate citizen in the UAE by positively contributing to economic, environmental and social aspects of our market,” said Emile Bado, regional general manager, Atlas Copco Services Middle East.
Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area develops, manufactures, markets, and services oil-free and oil-injected stationary air compressors, portable air compressors, gas and process compressors, turbo expanders, electric power generators, air treatment equipment and air management systems.
