Rees Oil and Gas Services has announced that its H2S Safety Division, in conjunction with their partners Solas Marine Services UAE, has five years of operation of their Multi-User H2S Life Support Systems and Services (MUHLS) contract with Petroleum Development Oman without any lost time incident (LTI).
At a function organised at the Muscat Intercontinental Hotel, to commemorate this event, Mr Ahmed Rahby, UWB Team Leader and Mr Mohammed Al Hajji Contract Holder, handed over shields to Mr G V Krishna, General Manager of Rees Oil & Gas Services & Mr Sanjay Prabhu General Manager Solas Marine Services LLC and to Mr V Thomas, the Contract Manager Rees H2S Divison (Solas).
Mr Khalid Al Nabhani who was the previous contracts holder and Safa Al Riyami Supply Chain Analyst both also attended the function from PDO.
Mr Ahmed Rahby congratulated Rees/Solas for this achievement and commended the performance of the field crew predominantly Omani Nationals. Mr Mohammed Al Hajji in his message asked Rees to aim for ten years without LTI.
Mr G V Krishna General Manager of Rees Oil & Gas Services complimented the hard work of the field staff and their Contracts Manager in achieving this milestone and thanked their partners Solas Marine Services for their tremendous support.
Mr Sanjay Prabhu General Manager of Solas Marine Services praised the field staff for this unique achievement in making the rig sites of PDO a safe place. The function was also attended by Mr Devesh Alva and Mr Sriram of Solas Marine Services and some of the field support technicians.
