The 2nd Saudi Arabian Oil and Gas Exhibition (SAOGE) is set to boost its attendance further from last year when it is held on 1-3 November in Dhahran.
The event, which attracts technical experts, industry professionals and decision makers from the petroleum industry, is the largest oil and gas exhibition held in Saudi Arabia.
“We received highly positive reviews for SAOGE 2008, which confirmed it as an important date on the international oil and gas events calendar. With high calibre speakers and an impressive programme, we are highly optimistic of an even greater turnout this year. SAOGE aims to consistently attract the latest discoveries and best technology in the petroleum industry,” said Piero Zipoli, president of SAOGE organisers, IES.
Over 200 exhibitors have already confirmed their attendance at the event, which is held at the Dhahran International Exhibition Centre. Speakers at the event include Randy Gossen, president of the World petroleum Council and Lord Digby Jones, the former UK Minister of Trade and Investment.
A conference programme will run alongside the exhibition, addressing the hottest topics in the oil and gas industry.
