The six-man Al Qaeda terror cell capatured by Kuwaiti security forces were planning an attack on the 200,000 barrels per day Shuaiba oil refinery in the country.
Quoting an un-named security official, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa reported that the men – all of whom are Kuwaiti nationals – were planning to attck the facility during the holy month of Ramadan.
Other establisments targeted by the fcell included a US army base.
