Bermuda’s Dockwise, an oil and gas marine transport specialist, has announced eight new near-term contract wins awarded to its subsidiary, Dockwise Shipping, for the transportation of a jack up drilling rig and port and marine infrastructure.
Dockwise Shipping is to transport one jack up drilling rig to Egypt, a jack- up barge to Australia, cargoes with dredging equipment and various port and marine infrastructure to the USA, river tankers to Panama and 3 ferries in different journeys to Abu Dhabi. The contracts will be carried out in Q3 and Q4 2009. Total revenues for the contracts are approximately US$ 27 million.
