Offshore engineering and marine services company, Noble Denton, has announced the appointment of Ian Bonnon as group director, renewables.
The move was welcomed by group managing director, John Wishart.
“The role reflects Noble Denton’s intention to secure significant worldwide market share in the provision of engineering, consultancy and project management services to the renewables industry,” Wishart said.
“In his new role, Ian will both lead our business development initiatives and focus on leveraging the combined Germanischer Lloyd and Noble Denton skill set in the renewables field,” he added.
Bonnon has more than 28 years’ experience in the oil and gas, renewable energy, marine and subsea cable industries.
“The offshore renewables sector has worldwide significance, and I relish the opportunity to work with the exceptional team here at Noble Denton to consolidate and develop our already well-established presence in this crucial arena,” Bonnon said.
