ADNOC and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) have announced an agreement to collaborate and cooperate to enhance the capability and expertise of ADNOC’s human capital in support of ADNOC’s 2030 Strategy to develop a highly skilled world-class workforce.
The agreement was signed in a ceremony at ADNOC headquarters by Ghannam Al Mazrouei, director of the Human Capital and Administration Directorate at ADNOC, and Peter Cheese, CEO of the CIPD.
The agreement enables ADNOC and the CIPD to work together in partnership in several areas, including use of the CIPD Professional Standards, CIPD qualifications and human capital career pathways. This will also include the design and delivery of CIPD continuous professional development clinics to enable ADNOC’s human capital to be developed as per the international professional standards.
Al Mazrouei said: “This agreement reaffirms ADNOC’s unwavering commitment to the development of our people – ADNOC’s most valuable assets. It represents further investment in programmes to accelerate the growth of ADNOC talent and helps create opportunities for our human resources team to fulfil its professional potential.”
Cheese commented: “CIPD is pleased to enter this agreement with ADNOC. We look forward to bringing our experience and programmes to successfully help ADNOC build the kind of human resources expertise necessary to enable its progressive and efficient performance-led culture.”
As part of ADNOC’s 2030 Strategy, the company has revitalised its human capital training and certification efforts to create a more robust professional development programme designed to provide greater on-the-job learning and training, while providing more mobility opportunities across the ADNOC Group.
