UAE Minister of Energy to attend EIC Connect Oil, Gas & Beyond 2018

Senior industry figures and top global players will descend upon the UAE capital for energy conference.

The UAE Minister of Energy and Industry, Suhail bin Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei will provide the opening plenary speech at this year’s EIC Connect Oil, Gas & Beyond conference and exhibition on April 17 at Dusit Thani, Abu Dhabi.

This is the second year in a row that the event has welcomed Al Mazrouei who, schedule permitting, will also take the time to meet and greet delegates and exhibitors.

Al Mazrouei will be joined on stage for the opening addresses will be the UK’s Ambassador to the UAE, Philip Parham.

They will discuss the outlook for the UAE energy industry, identifying technologies and services required by the UAE and GCC’s oil and gas, power, and renewables sectors as well as providing advice for overseas companies looking to establish themselves in the region.

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) continues its support of the EIC’s flagship UAE event and will provide a briefing session on its In Country-Value programme explaining the opportunities and benefits it provides suppliers.

ADNOC representatives will also host a specially commissioned stand in the exhibition area where delegates can find out how to register and work with the company as well as ask any other questions they may have about one of the region’s biggest energy firms.

Other major players active across the Middle East who will provide updates on their latest projects and supplier requirements include BP, McDermott, Petrofac, SNC-Lavalin, TechnipFMC and Wood. Spain’s Cepsa and Italy’s Eni, both of whom have recently bought into ADNOC offshore concessions, have also been invited to speak at the event.
