Mammoet has added 35 telescopic and crawler cranes to its existing fleet in the Middle East to meet strong market demand and support its aim to grow the company’s crane rental services.
The expansion will increase Mammoet’s capacity in the region and complement the diverse fleet of equipment for projects and day market jobs. The cranes, ranging from 30t to 1,250t capacity, will be available through Mammoet’s branches in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
“This expansion will allow us to provide a complete range of heavy lifting, installation and transportation solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients more efficiently,” said Martijn Kuipers, managing director, Middle East and Africa region, Mammoet.
“The enhanced availability of the equipment within the region will considerably reduce mobilisation time and associated costs without any compromise to the quality of our services,” he continued.
Mammoet has been operating in the Middle East for over 40 years, delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions for engineered heavy lifting and transportation in the petrochemical, offshore, power and civil industries. With the regional head office established in Dubai in 1974, the company has worked on some of the most prestigious projects in the region.
