Ducorr Middle East has announced completing contracted work for an Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) distribution project in the Ras Al Khaimah Depot. The undertaking lasted for 12 months.
Ducorr, which is headquartered in Sharjah, is a supplier of corrosion control services for steel tanks, pipelines as well as marine infrastructure. In a statement it revealed that the extent of its contract covered the deployment of impressed cathodic protection systems.
According to the firm, the system provides corrosion protection for up to 30 years.
Ducorr revealed that its Platepro system was used in the ADNOC project, which is capable of being installed in under three hours. This reportedly represents an estimated 150% time saving when compared to standard systems.
