GE, MEW open dissolved gas analysis monitoring centre in Kuwait

GE and the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) opened a dedicated dissolved gas analysis monitoring centre in Sabhan Industrial Area, Kuwait, which will deploy the company’s advanced digital industrial solutions to help partners achieve unprecedented levels of operational efficiency and productivity.

The turnkey service solution incorporates the retrofit of ageing transformers with monitoring sensors as well as software installation and support from a GE service expert for customer support and data analysis. The opening ceremony of the Kuwait dissolved gas analysis monitoring centre was attended by HE Dr Essam Al-Marzouq, minister, oil, electricity and water, Kuwait; Eng Mohammed Bouhshary, undersecretary, Ministry of Electricity, Kuwait; Eng Jaseem Al Noury, assistant undersecretary, Transmission Network, Kuwait; and Mohammed Mohaisen, ‎president and CEO, Grid Solutions, GE, MENAT.
