Supplier profile: Jereh

Could you give us a background of the company’s regional operations?

Jereh was established in 1999 and began trading in industrial and mining accessories. In 2002, we shifted from trading to independent R&D and manufacturing of oilfield equipment. And in 2005, the first oilfield slurry mixing system was exported to the US, launching the beginning of Jereh’s globalisation journey. For the Middle East market, Jereh has provided many high-end oilfield equipment and environmental services to help customers of the GCC countries to maximise the business value. So far, we have set up branches and representative offices in Kuwait, Turkey, Oman, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

What are the main services that you provide to the oil and gas industry?

Jereh provides integrated solutions along the industrial value chain from upstream to downstream to meet and exceed customer needs. In the engineering field, we offer oil and gas field surface engineering services, oil and gas treatment and processing, oil and gas gathering station, pipeline engineering and refining. In terms of manufacturing, we produce a full range of oil and gas equipment and accessories, including drilling rig, cementing unit, coiled tubing unit, nitrogen pumper, fracturing unit, wellhead products, well control products, downhole tools, compressor packaging and processing modules. We also manage environmental services for oil and gas fields: oily waste treatment, mechanical tank cleaning and sludge oil recovery and water treatment.

How would you say was business for your company in 2016? What do you plan to achieve in 2017?

For Jereh, 2016 was a year of transition and strategic reform. We increased international business development efforts and positioned as an integrated solution provider that includes investment and financing. We are seeing a better year in 2017 as we continue receiving positive market response with the implement of new strategy.

Could you share with us a list of your company’s oil and gas clients and the scope of your engagement with them?

Jereh deals with most of the major companies in the oil and gas industry across the world, including Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Shell, ConocoPhilips, Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Oil Company, ADNOC and Sonatrach. We offer a full range of equipment and services for the oil and gas production and utilisation.

What is your opinion of the general state of affairs in the services sector catering to the regional oil and gas industry?

Due to the low oil price situation in the market, the industry focusses more on reliability of operations. It drives more innovation and world-class lifecycle services. Jereh supports this development by providing customised design, reliable equipment and services to help improve the efficiency so that they can boost the returns on investment and reduce the risks of operations. Meanwhile, Jereh is extending the value chain by involving more in investment and financing projects.

As a key supplier to the industry, how important a role does innovation play in your offering?

Jereh attaches great importance to R&D. We have seven global R&D centres and invest at least 5% of the annual sales revenue in R&D activities and cooperate with universities and research institutions around the world in domains such as oil, gas, and environmental protection. As one of the results of these years of investment on R&D, Jereh has owned a State Level Industry Design Center, where the design team is equipped with advanced design and project management tools to offer support that complies with international standards and norms.
