DNO reports Kurdistan payment for oil deliveries

Norway’s DNO has reported receipt of $35.45mn from the Kurdistan Regional Government as payment towards November 2016 crude oil deliveries to the export market from the Tawke field

DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, has reported receipt of $35.45mn from the Kurdistan Regional Government as payment towards November 2016 crude oil deliveries to the export market from the Tawke field.

The funds, to be shared pro-rata by DNO and partner Genel Energy Plc., include $29.73mn toward monthly deliveries and $5.72mn toward recovery of outstanding receivables.

Tawke production in November averaged 115,363 bpd, of which 115,081 bpd was delivered for export through Turkey.

DNO ASA is a Norway-based oil and gas operator focussed on the Middle East and North Africa. Its largest shareholder is UAE-based RAK Petroleum.

DNO holds stakes in onshore and offshore licenses at various stages of exploration, development and production in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Yemen, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia and Somaliland.
