DNO mulls Oman offshore output boosting measure

The Norwegian E&P company is considering adding a further well to increase West Bukha’s production

Production from the Bukha and West Bukha offshore fields in Oman’s Block 8 averaged 5,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) during Q1 2016, according to operator DNO.

Oil and gas output was virtually the same. The Norwegian E&P company is considering adding a further well to increase West Bukha’s production.

In Tunisia, DNO continues preparations for the next phase of exploration and appraisal at the Sfax Offshore exploration permit. This will likely entail 3D seismic activity prior to drilling of a well in 2017.
