KRG pays $30mn to Taq Taq field partners

Genel said its share of the payment is $16.5mn

Genel Energy has announced that the Taq Taq field partners have received a gross payment of $30mn from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). 

The payment is for oil exported through the Kurdistan Region of Iraq-Turkey pipeline.

This represents the fourth export payment by the KRG since payments recommenced in September 2015.

Genel’s share of the gross Taq Taq payment is $16.5mn.

Along with Gulf Keystone and DNO, Genel produces around 300,000 barrels of oil per day from the field.
