ADNOC Distribution has said it hosted a ‘Joint Inspection Group’ (JIG) workshop for train industry professionals in international aviation fuel services.
The company says about 16 representatives from global blue-chip entities engaged in the aviation fuelling services sector, as well as employees from the company’s Aviation Services Division, attended the workshop.
The workshop, which ADNOC Distribution had organised for the second consecutive year, from October 18 – 22 at the company’s training centre in the Abu Dhabi International Airport, was ‘designed to help participants qualify as international inspectors in aviation fuelling services at airports’.
“We are delighted to host the Joint Inspection Group workshop for the second year in a row at the company’s modern training centre at the Abu Dhabi International Airport,” Khalid Hadi, Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Communications Division at ADNOC Distribution, said.
“The Joint Inspection Group workshop offered insights into the tested and most effective global inspection practices to evaluate the safety of fuelling depots as well as fuelling operations at airports. This will help us ensure the continued provision of high-end fuelling services at our facilities.”
Hadi added: “ADNOC Distribution is keen to expand and deepen our specialised human resources pool in the field of aviation services in order to maintain best-in-class fuel distribution across the company’s facilities at the UAE’s key airports.”
ADNOC Distribution was selected as a partner and member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and associate member of the Joint Inspection Group in 2011.
ADNOC Distribution has catered to more than 200 regional and international customers in the civil and military sectors since 1982, with its products and services that are distributed its fuelling facilities at seven international airports across the UAE.
