Al Hassan Engineering Abu Dhabi has signed a $9mn contract with Hyundai Engineering & Construction to carry out instrumentation works at Satah Al Razboot (SARB) field near Abu Dhabi.

The contract includes EPC Package 4 for the construction of plant facilities on the site.

The project’s duration is 22 months starting from August 2015, the company said in its filing with the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

Satah al-Razboot (SARB) offshore oil field is located about 200km northwest of Abu Dhabi. The oilfield is expected to add an additional 100,000 barrels per day of oil to the overall oil production capacity of UAE upon commissioning in 2016.

The field is operated by ADMA-OPCO, the offshore subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
