The UAE’s Ministry of Energy announced revised fuel prices for August 2015, with gasoline becoming more expensive, and diesel less expensive than earlier.
Gasoline will cost between AED2.07 and AED2.25 per litre during the month, while diesel will cost AED2.05, the ministry announced via its Twitter account.
Special 95 will cost AED2.14, the ministry’s announcement added.
Petrol prices have consequently increased by 24.4% following the ministry’s revised pricing policy.
The new policy comes into effect 1 August, 2015.
