UK-headquartered oilfield service company, Petrofac, said on Monday it has appointed Ray Richardson as its country manager in Oman.
Richardson, who has been with Petrofac for 15 years, is a chartered engineer and fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers with over 30 years’ international experience.
The new Oman country manager has extensive experience in the set-up and management of an oil and as business and large projects in international locations and multinational team environments, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on his appointment, Richardson said, “The move to Oman brings me full circle as I worked in Oman for five years during the early part of my career and it’s very exciting for me to be moving back to a country for which I have a deep affection.
“I am looking forward to working with the stakeholders involved to ensure that together we achieve our objectives.”
