Saudi Aramco’s CEO Khalid al-Falih has been appointed Saudi Health Minister as part of a reshuffle by the Kingdom’s King Salman.
State television said that Falih will also become Chairman of the national oil company, a post that had previously been held by the country’s Oil Minister, Ali al-Naimi.
Falih has been the head of Aramco since January 2009, and has spent three decades with the energy giant.
His successor as CEO of Aramco is yet to be announced.
