As part of its drive to increase production from the Upper Zakum reservoir, Zakum Development Company hosted AlMansoori Specialized Engineering, with the firm showcasing its technology.
ZADCO, an Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) subsidiary, has a target to increase the production rate from the Upper Zakum reservoir, the fourth largest oilfield in the world, from 550,000 to 750,000 barrels of oil per day.
In their efforts to achieve the target, AlMansoori and their partners were invited to showcase their latest technological and services.
AlMansoori exhibited a number of products and services, including oil and gas production and exploration well testing, multiphase systems, integrated well services, underbalanced drilling technology, process engineering and design, drill stem testing, sand management systems, and underbalanced and managed pressure drilling systems.
AlMansoori engineers also conducted a variety of technical presentations to an the audience of ZADCO employees which included topics such as ‘coiled tubing operations’, ‘drilling optimisation tools’, ‘multiphase meter’ and ‘use of tracers for improving EOR operations’.
