HB Rentals, a supplier of onsite accommodation for the oil and gas industry, recently opened a new operating and service facility in a purpose built 10,000 m2 yard in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
The firm said the expansion reflected HB Rentals’ success on the Middle East offshore accommodation market, which it entered five years ago.
“With the new facility, HB expects to further enhance customer response time and their overall breadth of services in support of its growing rental fleet in the region,” it added.
The Abu Dhabi facility supports HB Rentals’ fleet of over 100 DNV 2.7-1 and 2.7-2 accommodation and offshore service modules.
The modules can be rented as a single building or in any combination as temporary living quarters with sleepers, welfare, galley, medic and a multitude of other functions to support a remote site workforce.
