Drydocks World Dubai currently had has nine rigs in its yard – a new record for the shipyard.
In a statement, the company said the nine rigs would soon be joined by another four platforms.
The record is a continuation of a successful period for Drydocks World; ship repair and rig repair revenue increased by 9% last year compared to 2013, and exceeded the targeted annual profit projected for 2014.
