Wellbore clean up and abandonment specialist, Coretrax, is to step up its expansion plans in the Middle East.
The company showcased its products at the recent Adipec show, including its new CX-IST cement placement technology that is designed to reduce rig time and offer cost savings.
The company has made an $8mn investment in Saudi Arabia, where a Coretrax hub has been operational for 12 months.
Currently, nine members of staff are operational from the office; this is due to grow to 16 in the coming months.
Coretrax’s Dubai office opened in the summer of 2014 with an office and base in Abu Dhabi planned for early 2015.
“We have had a number of enquires about the CX-IST, and, due to the high quality of Coretrax products, alongside our technical expertise, our business is growing globally,” commented Kenny Murray, managing director at Coretrax.
“In particular in the Middle East, where we identified a gap in the thriving market and have since utilised the opportunity for global development.
“An addition to our Saudi base, we look to increase our presence in the region to best support the increasing demand.”
